Next Saturday night
...we're PLAYING Back to the Future!

A little while ago, it was revealed that Telltale Games, the company that's been responsible for the recent line of PC episodic games in the Sam & Max, Monkey Island, and Wallace & Gromit series has since been hard at work trying to develop yet another line of episodic games. This time, it's Back to the Future.

That's right, another movie franchise has been unearthed from its heyday and is coming back to entertain hardcore fans in a big way: as a video game, and with today's available technology. None of that pixelated junk that had limited the amount of fun and freedom for both the game-maker and the player. This time, it's the real deal.

...and now the news gets even better. Kotaku has reported that some of the original crew has signed on to be part of the project. Namely, Christopher Lloyd will be coming back as Doc Brown and Bob Gale, the guy who wrote the movies, is signed on as a close consultant (so now we KNOW that it's going to be good! ...story-wise, at least).

You say this device captures my motions?

No word or confirmation yet on whether Michael J. Fox will return as Marty McFly, but I'll make a prediction and call it right here: he will, along with Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Tom Wilson will definitely say yes.

I think you are right except for Michale J. Fox, and that won't be for the lack of trying on TellTale's part.

He is older now and won't sound the same not to mention he is working hard with his foundation and other matters. Still looks to be fun though.
